The children in DACCO’s Breakaway Center celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday by making hats, milkshakes and reading as part of the Read Across America Day held nationwide on March 2
nd. The Center, located on the DACCO campus and funded in part by the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County, provides developmental child care services for children of individuals in treatment. Sinziana Bulcara, the Center’s Program Director, remarked: “It is truely inspiring to see how the imaginations of our children are sparked from reading a good book.”
