DACCO’s drug and alcohol programs are designed to offer comprehensive addiction treatment to meet the spiritual, physical, and psychological needs of each individual. While our primary purpose is to treat substance use disorders centered around alcohol, illicit drugs, and/or prescription drugs, we specialize in providing treatment to individuals who also have a co-occurring mental health disorder. We believe that to truly treat an individual, an assessment must include an identification of any underlying emotional or psychiatric illness such as depression, trauma, grief or loss issues, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and post traumatic stress disorders. Our medical treatment approach includes a thorough assessment and proven treatment models that address all issues related to the addiction.
Our medical treatment model includes a team of highly trained and educated professionals including physicians and nurses. Our affiliation with the University of Florida provides access to the newest research on addiction treatment and experts in UF’s Addiction Medicine Program which includes a training program at our site. With over 20 years of experience in the field, our Medical Director is a UF faculty member Board Certified in Addiction Psychiatry. He is joined by our other physicians, who are also Board Certified and fellows in the Addiction Medicine Program.
Our highly qualified nursing staff and partnerships with Tampa Family Health Centers and Suncoast Community Health Centers also help address any primary healthcare issues you or your loved one may be experiencing. By selecting DACCO as your treatment facility, you will receive the highest quality care necessary to address your substance use disorder and any underlying mental health issues, while providing you the skills and knowledge necessary to maintain a sober lifestyle.
We offer a full range of services in our DACCO family of facilities many located within minutes of our main location in East Tampa so you can concentrate on what is truly important – your recovery.
