Specialty Outpatient Programs

Aftercare/Continuing Care

We recognize the importance of providing emotional support for day-to-day living (which can include fears of work and family re-entry) after successful treatment completion.  Our aftercare program, typically lasting four to six months after you complete treatment, provides this support through weekly, evening group sessions.  These sessions will encourage you to continue developing recovery skills such as: healthy boundaries, awareness of addiction(s) involving alcohol and drugs, improved communication, and building healthy relationships.  You will also address specific issues of early recovery, such as: sponsorship, conflict resolution and sober holiday survival.

Anti Drug Initiative (ADI) Program

This is a unique six week program that provides individuals with drug, alcohol and other related charges who are referred through the State Attorney’s Office to receive outpatient treatment services including counseling and random urine drug screens. Successful completion of the program typically results in related felony charges not being filed.

Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Program

Whether this is your first DUI or you have multiple offenses, we are here to help. Through our partnership with DUI Counterattack, we provide evaluation and treatment services to DUI offenders.  The program meets on a weekly basis, and you will be expected to attend individual and group sessions and some self-help or community meetings.

Drug Court and Criminal Justice Programs

DACCOs drug court and outpatient criminal justice treatment programs can last up to 12 months and are designed to address the needs of individuals referred by the court system.  Our programs are designed to address the specific needs of adolescents and adults and provide individuals the opportunity to obtain treatment for their substance use disorder versus serving jail or prison sentences. Based on an individualized treatment plan, the judge will schedule regular status hearings in which information regarding your drug testing results, attendance, attitude in treatment, recognition of your drug problem, and participation in the treatment program will be reviewed.  Treatment can include individual and group sessions and random urinalysis available at convenient hours to accommodate your work and personal commitments. Upon successful program completion, typically the original charge(s) will be dismissed by the court.
