Assessment and Referral:
Typically includes a face-to-face screening with triage to the appropriate level of care. Based on the results of screening and assessment tools and urine drug screens recommendations for placement are then made for each individual.
Services are available on both the DACCO Center for Behavioral Health campus as well as at the Brandon office.
Misdemeanant Program:
In cooperation with the State Attorney’s office this six week program provides second time adult misdemeanants an opportunity to attend group and individual sessions. Successful completion of the program which includes random urine drug screens will provide participants the opportunity to have their criminal justice record expunged and a drug free lifestyle.
Driving Under the Influence Program:
Through an agreement with DUI Counterattack of Hillsborough, individuals, 18 years of age and older, are referred who have been charged with either a DUI, Special Supervision Services in need of Relapse Prevention Counseling or three time violators of Ignition Interlock Device for either the outpatient services.
Drug Court:
A 12-18 month program for adults who are involved in the felony pre-trial intervention program (PTI). Participants are first time non-violent felony offenders, who have been identified with either a substance abuse or drug dependency disorder. This program also includes, in addition to the traditional outpatient services, acupuncture which has been proven to reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms associated with substance use disorders.
Successful completion of the program which includes random urine drug screens will provide participants the opportunity to have their criminal justice record expunged and a drug free lifestyle.
